Why do i keep burping all the time even though I am taking an acid reducer for acid reflux disease?

Well, I was diagnosed with acid reflux (GERD or otherwise) about a year ago, and now I burp all the time, loudly, and not just a little burp, sometimes more like a burp. Its really embarrassing and I was wondering if antacids (brand generic Zantac) should make me do this I am a girl of my adolescence.

I think the acid reflux is the cause.

The gases are released through burping. Lucky its not out lol the other end. JK. But in fact, must go, or remain in the stomach and keep bothering you.

While you are taking preventive drugs, you should still try to avoid very acidic foods like tomatoes, oranges, vinegar, etc.
