Who out there had a C-Section and a baby with GERD?

Doing some personal research and want to know who out there had a C-section and was then administered IV antibiotics and ALSO had a baby with GERD (reflux) or thrush Personal Poll here!!
My baby had GERD three years ago. This isn’t a current problem I am trying to solve. I am just taking a poll for personal health reasons.

EVERY woman who has a c-section now receives antibiotics. It reduces rates of infection. So, unfortunately, thrush is a real possibility.

As for reflux, there are multiple causes. Babies kept on their backs are more likely to have reflux. Babies who are breastfed have lower rates, but not zero. Babies fed homemade formulas have a lower rate of reflux than those who get commercial formula (this from my clinic) although they don’t know why exactly. Some babies on cow’s milk formulas (homemade or commercial) may do better on a homemade goat milk formula. There have been quite a few postings that adding probiotics to either breastmilk or formula, will reduce or eliminate GERD in some infants. Worth a try, I should think. If the antibiotic had any effect, that should help.

Most moms I know will not give their infants soy milk formulas for a variety of reasons, but mostly related to the pesticides and phytoestrogens, but I just haven’t really seen the research on soy vs. mammal milk to comment on it regarding reflux.
