what light hot drink can I drink without getting heartburn or acid reflux?

I absolutely love my green tea and all sorts of tea. I love coffee too. I have recently come from hospital and need too spend lots of time at home but get acid reflux and heartburn as side effects from the meds. I really want to drink something light and hot but what can I drink that will go easy on my stomach

You should ask your GP for some proton pump inhibitors to control the reflux and heartburn while you are on these meds you should not have to suffer this. As for drinks try low calorie hot chocolate or bovril. Good Luck

Hi, heartburn can really be a pain, especially when it wakes you up in the middle of the night. One of the best things that can help, and this works really well for my mother is ginger tea. Ginger is known to be really helpful as an aid to digestive health. So definitely give that a go.

Green tea is also good as well.

You also need to focus on not what to drink. The two biggest culprits for making heartburn or acid reflux worse are caffeine, fizzy sugary drinks, and chocolate. The last one is a bit of a downer, but try to avoid in drink form and solid form.

I hope that was helpful, if you want a bit of information about some good natural cures for heartburn and acid reflux, take a look at the resource below, take care.
