what is a good heartburn medication i get get in a generic form?
I used to take Prevacid for my heartburn for a while ‘I stopped taking it when my heartburn is gone, but now is ill again. My presription copay up to $ 50 for brand name drugs. What is a good thing I can take that comes in a generic form

Try sucking on hard candy or chew gum after eating. Give a chance for natural methods before resorting to more drugs.

Pepcid works well. Gavascon is impressive, but you know what works best for me and is by far the most economical is sodium bicarbonate. “Cooking” 1 / 4 teaspoon water 1 / 2 cup, stirring until clear and beat down, pursued with more water. It works wonders.

When heartburn? Try changing your diet to stay away from foods high in acid like tomatoes, drink milk and eat yogurt. Relax as the stress does not help.

There are Zantac and Tagamet to come in brands generic forms. Tagamet found right before eating or after work quite well.
