What If Any Home Remedies For Acid Reflux Work?
My acid reflux has been kicking my ass lately and I'm getting tired of taking the "purple crack."
I've heard that are home remedies that work and are very cheap compared to the recipe and perscription drugs.
If you have had some success with something please reply.

I'm no doctor, so either way will have to talk to them, but this is what I have to say, as a longtime victim of acid reflux (GERD)!
Three part answer: information, what not to do and what to do!
INFORMATION !!!!!!
I have a very serious case of acid reflux (GERD). I had to go to the hospital for some of the heartburn that I had because the pain can become overwhelming or your breathing can be effected. It can be caused by smoking, consumption of caffeinated beverages case (with my hereditary), consumption of beverages containing alcohol, stress, anxiety can be hereditary
The good thing about GERD is that it can be a temporary thing and can be cured. It is never a permit thing even if it ends with him the rest of his life has the ability to heal itself.
GERD is caused by excess acid in the stomach is created. This may lead to or cause ulcers, esophagus damage, heartburn and / or damage to your mouth. . Other symptoms that can be found in some cases are dizziness, tingling in extremities, numbness of extremities, chest / back pain focused on the left side (in most cases), and the lack / difficulty breathing.
WHAT NOT TO DO !!!!!!!!
In most cases, stress is a factor for reflux if you watch what you eat and reduce some of the stress that will help. If you watch what you eat for a week, you should find relief, if you do, when definitely what to listen to the doctor. Things to note are:
Fatty foods
Citrus
Foods containing fat
Fried
Chocolate (including any Coco)
Caffeine
Smoking
Alcohol
Tomato products
Lactose
Forage (berries and nuts)
Onions
WHAT TO DO!
The two foods that I recommend is Black strap molasses and honey. The apple is better for the reflux at night, while they work for almost everything. What you do is take a teaspoon. what you chose. Molasses is the best because of the strength and nutrition, but must be used for flavor. What the substance does not stick to the walls of the esophagus and do two things, one is cured and the other is protect.
At the end of healing, both substances have a healing property in them, and when they sit on the walls of the esophagus will heal. This is also useful if you have a sore throat on the morning of reflux.
At the end of protection, both substances are high in sugar and acid reflux that has been until sugar is neutralized and is no longer a problem at that point.
I also seek to put cinnamon and ginger in the diet, which have been know to aid digestion and help reduce the amount of acid needed to curb food, therefore causing the reflux less.

This may sound crazy, and it just might be my situation, but it worked for me. I've never actually been diagnosed with acid reflux, but the symptoms fit. I was eating Tums virtually all the time. I went to a low-carb diet to lose weight. As soon as you cut carbs, the reflux had disappeared. I do not follow the diet low in carbohydrates much more, and always know when I've had too many carbohydrates. As I said, that could only be me and my situation, but the carbohydrates that cause my problems.

Actually taking the little purple pill, but my mother is always investigating things and said that the baking soda water can help. I've also read that 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar a day will also help. Milk masks just that. I have a irratable Esophagus and can not eat or drink a day without my pills, so good luck to you.
