has anyone heard of GERD associated with late talking in toddlers?

my daughter has severe GERD (gastro-esophogeal disease in toddlers) she’s 26 months old and only says 3-5 words if that. it went undiagnosed for months. but now is under control.

she is very smart in all other areas to my knowledge and is showing nothing else that comes to my attention
