My 3yo has been having tummy aches for almost 1.5 year. I’ve taken him to the pedi. Every time I go he says something along the lines of “he’s constipated or has acid reflux” which I try to tell him in NOT the case. The last time we went the pedi said milk allergy so he wanted me to take him off of milk for 2 weeks. It’s been 3 weeks and if anything the pain has gotten worse. I have no idea what to do because my insurance wont cover a specialist unless the pedi gives a referral. I’ve tried prevacid, tums, and pepto. I’ve even tried natural stuff like mangosteen. Nothing is working. So anyone have any clues that can point me in the right direction?
Okay bitch, I said I took him to the doctor, ALOT!

i’ve been having a really bad stomach pain for the last month. i’ve had it before, but the stupid doctor i went to then diagnosed it as “heartburn” OR “Acid Reflux Disease”.. he wasn’t sure. but he also added “possible ulcer”… then he put me on Zantac to be taken 2 times a day for three months. well, it went away about 5 months later on its own. no thanks to the zantac. and after my pregnancy last year, i now know what heartburn feels like, and this IS NOT IT. it hurts so bad that i crouch over and cry sometimes. it comes and goes, and eating/drinking makes no difference. whenever i change positions, however, it hits me REALLY bad. i’m going to the doctor this week, but i’d really like to know what this could be. so i won’t get diagnosed with “heartburn OR acid reflux” again. please help?

For ten days I’ve had pain right around my solar plexis like someone is stabbing me and twisting the knife. I thought it could be hiatal hernia but I don’t have any other symptoms listed for “GERD”. A common cause of sternal pain is costochondritis – inflammation of the ligaments that attach the ribs to the sternum. The pain can also develop if one of the ribs slips slightly our of alignment. These things usually clear up on their own, but you may recover faster if you try a variety of stretching exercises to stretch your pectoral muscles and muscles between the ribs. Chiropractors are helpful at treating these things and keeping them from returning.
