Question by amanda06claire: What kind of food should I feed by dog that has a sensitive stomach?
I have a 2 1/2 year old male husky. He has been having trouble with his food… (throwing up after eating, not wanting to eat but will eat other things such as treats, real chicken, etc so its not like he doesn’t have an appetite, has loose stool and is gassy). Our vet does a comprehensive exam twice a year where they run tests and make sure everything checks out okay. Everything came back normal and she said he just has a form of “dog acid reflux” aka a sensitive stomach. He currently is on the Kirkland Chicken & Rice formula (dry food) but the vet suggested switching him to a sensitive stomach food and putting a tablespoon of yogurt in it. She suggested the Science Diet kind, ProPlan and one other one that I can’t remember. Before I go and buy one of these, I was hoping to get some opinions from people who have had a similar situation! I obviously want to be feeding my dog a good food!

My 5 month old was just diagnosed with acid reflux. She has a prescription that I give her 3 times a day in her formula to help settle her stomach. She hasnt been sleeping since shes been born so im hoping that this is the right diagnosis.
