How can a food sensitivity / intolerance cause heartburn?
Friday, May 14th, 2010Hello, I read on the internet, a sensitivity or intolerance to a particular type of food (eg eggs, corn, soy, milk, etc.) can actually cause heartburn. How exactly does this? The stomach is only the release of excess stomach acid in an attempt to digest dietary protein tolerated the United Nations? Or is it something to do with the motility of the esophagus, peristalsis, or perhaps the release of bile or what? Thanks for your help!
