I don’t think so. It’s specifically for white grapefruit only. You will know if nothing is coming up from your lungs. If it doesn’t,. try it again with red. If it does work, then please let me know.
@MGiordano `Stainless steel works fine as a lid for the bronchitis mixture, you just can’t see into your pot when it’s simmering and you wouldn’t want it to boil. Only simmer.
Jen knows what she is talking about. I tried the grapefruit rind recipe for bronchitis and it works wonders. The stuff at your pharmacy is crap compared to grapefruit rind (quinine) formula. This stuff is powerful and works fast. You need to put a little honey in it though. It is very bitter. God bless Jen for putting this recipe on here!

For some reason, the hybridization removed most of the quinine that the old fashioned white grapefruit had, so…no, sorry.
