I first noticed the nap nanny in a magazine. I decided to try it and my son is now 3 months old and has loved it since birth. He sleeps so peaceful in it. It is very soft and portable. I wish they had one for adults. I’m able to get so much done.

Received as a gift and decided to return after realizing it wasn’t something we wanted since we working with our baby to get him to sleep in his crib. He’s quite active and I could see him easily rolling off this thing. Even though the product was never used and is still sitting in the original packaging the company WILL NOT let us return it. So be absolutely sure this is something you want because there are no returns.

My daughter hated her bassinet and would not sleep in it. We tried having her sleep in the pack n’ play or her bouncer, neither were practical for sleeping upstairs. I saw the nap nanny in a magazine and again in USA Baby. I didn’t think I needed it and felt it was very expensive for a decorated piece of foam. When my daughter started with acid reflux and couldn’t be laid down flat, I was desperate and ordered it through Amazon. This was the best item I purchased for the baby yet. She sleeps peacefully and so do I. I don’t have to worry about her choking on spit up and the reflux has calmed down as well. It is well worth the money I spent on it. I do put it in the pack n’ play, in the middle of the table and the floor. My daughter is very petite and I used the head support I bought for the carseat and it worked out well for her.

I did notice a bit of a chemical smell when I first got it. I was initially upset when I found out it is not returnable/refundable, but airing it out took the smell away. The covering is machine washable, so diaper leaks and spit up wash away. The directions/recommendations that come with the nap nanny also say that it can only be used on the floor. It doesn’t say this online unless you look very closely, which I did the day it arrived. I don’t like her sleeping on the floor at night. She is still small enough where she can’t flip it over and it fits in the pack n’ play just fine with no room for overturning. It isn’t stable on the bed at all. Once she gets into her crib, I intend to use it the same way as I do the pack n’ play. To ensure it won’t be overturned by her I rolled up a comforter and placed it around the nap nanny where it wedges against the crib rails. It’s not going anywhere like that.

All in all it’s the best thing I found to help with sleeping and acid reflux. Definitely recommend to anyone. I’m buying a second one for a friend.
