I’m not sure how much I can help. My son had reflux and I kept it under control by breastfeeding very frequently. As long as he nursed at least every hour he was fine. Breastmilk is a natural antacid so even if the food does come up it doesn’t burn. He didn’t have any problems with very acidic foods such as pineapple or tomatoes.
If you aren’t breastfeeding it may be beneficial to ensure baby eats a small amount of formula with each meal. I’m not sure how alkaline formula is though.
Otherwise you might want to limit very acidic foods and certain kinds of fat which make reflux worse.

For what it’s worth — my daughter has always spat up my milk prodigiously; it is tapering off at 7mo, but we still do a lot of laundry.
She has been eating table food for about a month now — this includes curries — and she has not once spat up the food. It is ALWAYS milk that comes back up on us.
How does that help you? I don’t know. But do take a relaxed attitude and see how it goes instead of buying trouble in advance. Spitting up =! automatic problem with solids.

there are gas tabs that are homeopathic that are great for kids with reflux. they’re over the counter. i use them for my grandson because he too has reflux and spits up a lot, plus try giving him veggies like green beans and avoid broccoli as that does cause gas and spit up. the better fruits are more acidic and less dry like oranges verses apples.

I have acid issues as well and I find that I do much better with organic, less oil and fat, less spices. Also, a little at a time is best.
