Is it normal to have get horrible heartburn several times a day and night while pregnant?

I am 26 weeks pregnant, heartburn and I know that is certainly something that goes along with pregnancy, but it feels like the last week or so he launched into overdrive.     Some women have very bad heartburn. I was lucky not to have it all. I suggest drinking milk or yogurt eatling unlike all the Tums.

    I do this all the time and im 34 weeks! It sucks. Tums are perfectly safe, but if your unbareable I can talk to yur doctor can prescribe something for you stonger.

    maloxx Test and Mylanta. Are safe to drink. Its on my list for my doctor gave me is safe to take during pregnancy. Work harder to keep away the acidity.

    Yes it is! With my first pregnancy I had heartburn from conception until birth. Ended up becoming the final reflux and had to sleep on the couch so as not to stifle my sueño.Puede be annoying and I’m serious – if interested in talking with your OB / GYN and may have some remedies. But from my experience is a normal part of embarazo.Felicidades and good luck!

    Oh, I had the acidity of acid ages during my pregnancy I was lucky enough to find Gavisicon was awesome and safe to use during pregnancy only ask your doctor

    Yes, it is normal, especially the more you get. I had horrible heartburn my entire pregnancy. Talk to your gynecologist and see if there is anything he / she can perscribe for heartburn that is safe during pregnancy.

    if r worried overdo medicine, try drinking a glass of milk or 2. that could help more medicine and its good for you

    I understood too much and at first I thought it was indigestion, but I think not. Lol. We will have hairy babies!     I know exacly how you feel! Please I am 37 weeks. I get up in the middle of the night and vomiting and all. its rough. lol but its normal position. its just how the child is placed in the abdomen. I live for the Tums too.

    Unfortunately burning is a wonderful holiday NOT normal pregnancy, the hormones that cause ur help froduce also help children grow more acidic, which inturn gives heartburn, gas, or more, or do not have to worry about taking Tums are safe But, ask your doctor may prescribe an acid liquid ant, durable and help relieve heartburn ur faster:) also try to sleep with a pillow placed ur:) Suerte:)
