i have acid reflux and it is always bothering me. i don’t eat after breakfast . does that make reflux worse

well I hope you have seen your doctor about this because acid reflux is not a harmless disease. You need to get on a regiment of a Proton pump inhibitor, H2 blocker, acid neutralizer and definatly loose weight if you are over-weight. Not many healthy people get this disease. Eating smaller meals and drinking copeous amounts of water will help.

My daughter has reflux and she has to be on prescription medication for it. Her reflux is so bad that every time she refluxed to the back of her throat a small amount would micro asperate into her lungs. She is now 14 and suffering from stage 4 chronic lung disease as a result. The medication helps as did a fundaplication (tying a knot in the top of her stomach)
