Yes, reflux and GERD can cause a child to choke. If you think you have this child should take the doctor.

I do. . . You should always have it resting on a non sleeping flat.

I used to have acid reflux when I was little and was very unplesent so my guess is that your baby wakes up before or when regurgitation and crying. I still keep an eye on the child and possibly get a medication.

Yes, it is a posiblity my daughter had acid reflux when she was born 37 weeks premature and choked to blue on the day of birth was so scary! He stayed in NICU for a week and one day was 2 Differnet drugs. (Pepcid and another thing I forgot) the doctor told me what made breatsfeeding heal so quickly. bbut can suffocate me and my husband had many sleepless nights worrying about that, but nothing happens. Only one child and relaxs bye mmonitor!

Yes, if it is bad enough that it should be the drug that helps control can also raise the head of the crib by putting a pillow under the mattress. It is also very painful to do something in a hurry and help me Gerd I is not painful for me, besides my medicine for my daughter was 2 years since I was born and Axid and is doing very well. His silent reflux which means that he came all the way so do not spit, but you could see that his reaction was wrong when he had an episode! Good luck

A child with or without Gerd can drown in their sleep. My som is 4 months and still sleeping in his car seat, so if you throw up, up and down.

His fear is too great, probably worst of SIDS. Actually doing research and found this story. This woman had her baby to sleep on the swing next to her every night because of reflux. One night I happened to look and he was blue. She grabbed him and gave him a pat on the shoulder and tons of spit. It was obvious that he immediately went to ER and the doctor said if he wouldnt have been caught turns blue, just say he died of sudden death the following morning. . . . Is not that horrible?! After the reading I was watching like a hawk. In order not to scare the hell of you, but I just wanted to let you know that is a very real possibility, unfortunately. Good luck
