I had spaghetti and tomato sauce for dinner and I’m still hurting. I have a lot of episodes of acid reflux (where you vomit in your mouth and burn the chest and throat) and do not know what is triggered.

Yes, ketchup is one of those things you need to stay away from (the same thing with non-critical drinks, chocolate, spisy foods, caffeine, tea) is ImportNT follow the advice of the doctor and take medication. Treatment vaies severity of gastroesophageal reflux. Normally, when you take a drug to block production of stomach acid, Yur, it means that your doctor wants to get rid of infammation esophagus and allevialte and give a better tone to the sphincter of the stomach. Sometimes medication is used to give more strength to the sphincter that stomach contents do not spit, and even taking pyloric sphincter relaxes to empty the stomach faster. After the meals are not good, but certainly I would be out of the tomato sauce (ketchup is good, believe or not). I hope this question the answer Yur.

I had acid reflux for years. Who was dealing with an acid reducer during the night. I ended up in hospital for something else and not the upper and lower GI. I was diagnosed with the disease Barrett. That is, acid burning the esophagus so that the coating is now the same cells as my stomach. E ‘precancerous and go tomorrow to see if I have cancer. Dr. I did omeprazole 20 mg daily in a Prilosec OTC M. is the same thing. This is what was originally fixed, but I thought of making them less expensive. Take care f yourself. Something as simple as indigestion, untreated, can kill.

You should avoid these foods in packages, which contain preservatives such as acetic acid and citric acid. In addition to avoiding fried foods.
