Try to wait an hour or more after eating before bedtime. I know it helps me trememdously. Even if only a small snack and lie on the couch. Sleep with your head elevated.

Do not eat within 2 hours before bedtime. Raise the bed or pillows 8.11 inches.
Try Tums.
Go to MD & try another medication because they want to protect your esophagus.

Tums should help a lot. Or, if you're not lactose intolerant, 1 hour before bedtime drink a glass of milk slowly and chew biscuits. Very slowly. Hope I helped.

Sleeping in a recliner or with the head of the bed elevated. Also, do not eat for an hour before bedtime.
