How to cure heartburn during my pregnancy?

I am almost 13 weeks into my first pregnancy and I think I lived my first “heartburn” Yesterday I ate my spaghetti sauce, and about four hours after I got up and my chest hurt and my throat started a bit ‘after that. Then, before going to sleep again to the stars, I was very similar to today, and my chest hurts, and even swallowing food makes it difficult. What can I do to cure it Also, when should I be worried

I do not think the acidity is nothing to worry about, simply stinks very bad. In any case, the best cure is prevention! It may take some Tums or other medications approved for heartburn / indegestion before eating. It’s not funny, I know. . . I had heartburn at that time and not surprisingly, has hardly ever and I’ll be 18 weeks tomorrow. I hope that does not stick with you! For the girl who recommends Pepto: Nooo! This is not safe during pregnancy because there are no traces of aspirin in it.

Prilosec! Seriously. . That’s incredible. . I had bad heartburn (acid reflux almost to the point of my Dr. said) before becoming pregnant and Prilosec did not work, but somehow it does now. . But I’m 38 weeks and every time I fall off when I had it all! It’s amazing! hahah resist! :)

depends if heartburn or acid reflux regular. Ask your hour dr next time you go for a visit that will do both. because acid reflux can prevent weight gain is necessary because it hurts more. . .

Beware of spicy foods that cause acid reflux or w / the uterus growing. There is less space for proper digestion. Bananas are also a problem for me. Sleep sitting upright. Consult your pediatrician about medications available.

My doctor recommended me Pepcid AC or store brand equivalent. When I have very bad heartburn, I take a Tums for heartburn help immediately and then took a Pepcid to keep him away. That usually works pretty well. With my first pregnancy, who worked for a while ‘but then I had to go to a recipe. So if you are Tums, Pepcid, etc. for a while ‘and does not help then realize that you can always ask your doctor for something stronger.

I had a problem with that when I was pregnant and I got it was because the food he was eating, the food we ate while I was pregnant, do not seem to agree with me when I was. I had to be careful with what I added spices to my diet and even found some of the food does not agree and I had that problem too. I found the milk helped me with the burning sensation has given me, and stayed away from anything spicy or citrus in it. I’ve tried antacids, but noted that sometimes it is worse when I had to sleep, be sure not to completely which would increase the acid and was very ill, I used to sleep with the pillows I used in my top body and I put in a reclining position, rather than downwards as a horizontal plane with only one or two pillows. I hope that something in my answer can help, I know how uncomfortable
