Being a retired boxer / kickboxer and now in my 40s, I was looking for ways to keep at home and seek the relief of many aches and pains acquired during Extream sports over the years. This book not only provides many remedies for sports injuries, but the disorders of all kinds. I especially like the way it translates the language of Chinese herbs in botany as many herbs can be found in our own natural food stores. MedlinePlus The only minor complaint is that it does not say much about our own American ginseng, as is appreciated by the Chinese. MedlinePlus Otherwise I think it is very instructive for beginners and advanced students of the kinds of healing herbs. MedlinePlus deep reverence.

I borrowed this book from the library and liked it so much that I intend to buy it for me. This book is very well written. The author wrote this book in a very easy to understand (in layman language) to do “analysis paralysis.” In general, the authors would like to use fancy words and write a lot of useless words to fill the pages, but this book is not that type of work, making it easier for me to read and enjoy. From reading this book, I was able to understand and learn not only how Chinese herbal medicine, But I got a lecture on the history and background of Chinese medicine. The author also gave 10 suggestions to improve health. Of course, the juice of this book are recipes for treating different types of diseases and these diseases are listed alphabetically so you can easily find a dictionary. I seriously recommend this book to those who are learning about Chinese herbal medicine, or would like some Chinese medicinal formulations of herbal useful as a cookbook. Save money and get the paperback instead.

this was a very good book. He took herbal remedies for diseases, and also gave the symptoms of these diseases. This book served by two books, but gave information on diseases, herbal formulas to address these diseases. My only problem with this book is that the index provides a disease, then says: see this and that. This is good, but then gives a page number. He turns the page, and no information about the disease is but one small thing to say, the disease to see another disease. while this is a bit ‘boring, you have to endure, because this book is useful. Very good!
