Can some antibiotics cause severe heartburn and stomach cramps?
It ‘was a round of antibiotics (cephalexin) for a bladder infection. He had to leave half of the drugs, because I have stomach cramps and severe heartburn horrible. I tried it with food, I tried without food – no difference. One day after I stopped taking it, stomach pain and heartburn stopped.

Sure it can. You should have consulted the pharmacist, however, before he stopped taking it. Also, I hope you have talked to the doctor, perhaps a different antibiotic. You may still need something to cure bladder infection.

Imo, cramps are more urgent than they are serious
