I used to keep a packet of extra strong mints under my pillow at night for this very purpose!
It was just enough to take the edge off the heartburn long enough to allow me to go back to sleep.
Not very tooth friendly maybe, but needs must!!

I’m 40 & 2 today, and im still suffering from it, Ok so im England and its 9. 05am here but i seriously get about 2-3 hours sleep because of heartburn. I drink milk straight from the fridge to try and calm it down, i must do this 5-6 times through the night and then i have to visit the bathroom at least five times in the night. Gaviscon is good i really need to get some in again lol,. I hopeyou don’t have it all through your pregnancy i like i have its one of the many “lovely” side effects of carrying our budles of joy
.
Good Luck xx
